Principal Message

Dear Bay Laurel Elementary School Community,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Bay Laurel Elementary School, home of the Dolphins! With over 20 years of experience in education—10 years as an elementary teacher and 10 years in administration at both the middle and high school levels—I am excited to bring my expertise to this wonderful community. 

Outside of my professional life, I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 19 years. We have two amazing children: our son, Parker, who will be a high school senior, and our daughter, Peyton, who will be a junior this year. As a parent myself, I understand firsthand the importance of a strong home-school partnership and how deeply families care about their child’s educational experience.

I am excited to get to know our staff, students, families, and the entire Bay Laurel community throughout the summer and the early stages of the 2025-26 school year. In the coming weeks, I’ll be reaching out to staff and parent community leadership with some specific days and times in which we can meet and I can learn more from you all about what makes Bay Laurel such a special place to be!
